This is a good rub for ribs. Add some salt to it, and you can rub it on chicken for grilling, and that will replace brining.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Makes enough to do 6 St. Louis style rib slabs. This will keep in a closed container, but make sure that you don't rub it on the ribs, then reach into the container with those same porky hands. Pull enough out into a separate bowl so you don't contaminate the main container.
